Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year

My client requires and experienced international freight forwarding sales / business development manager to join their Chicago office.

The company are a mid sized freight forwarding, shipping and logistics organization who focus strongly on the international Air freight, Ocean freight and Customs brokerage aspect of the business. Both imports and exports. They have multiple offices over the USA and a very strong network overseas. Fantastic leadership team and offer lucrative career and earning path for successful candidates.

The day to day job:

– Prospecting companies who have shipping needs

– Covering the Mid-West territory

– Cold calling

– Presenting to all levels of organizations – A-C level accounts

– Working closely with the operations team to ensure customer excellence

– Visiting customers and making calls on a weekly basis (one day per week in office)

Experience required:

– 3+ years in a similar role

– Strong knowledge of the area

– Outgoing and willing to strive for excellence in a growing organization

Air Land Sea Recruiting are currently working with a mid-sized organization within the shipping, logistics and Freight Forwarding sector who are currently looking to expand their sales efforts to focus in particular on movements in and out of Germany / Europe.

This medium sized forwarder with a good reputation, excellent network and are looking for a strong new business sales person to help work with the company’s key partners in Germany. This role for the right candidate can have great prospects and career growth.

  • Excellent commission structure paid on every $1 of GP
